Students at El Toyon Elementary school in National City will learn the importance of getting a job and paying taxes on Friday, April 15. The event is a part of Junior Achievement’s JA Day program that will put PwC volunteers in the classroom to teach financial literacy lessons to over 485 students in K-6th grades. National City Mayor Ron Morrison will offer a special recognition to JA volunteers as part of Volunteer Appreciation Month in April. Media is invited to interview students, PwC volunteers, teachers and the National City Mayor during a press conference Friday, April 15 from 8.30 A.M. – 10.00 A.M.
