Thank you for taking time off from your work and coming to teach us about how to start a business and about what region you would find the proper resources. This will help me when I start my Lego business in Washington. I will know about income, taxes, and expenses. Thank you for teaching us!

I know what my parents have to go through every day and now I respect them more when they say, 'I had a hard day at work'.

My mom was so amazed she said, "I wish they had JA BizTown when I was a kid."

On Tuesday, February 5th, my life was marked forever. My JA Volunteer opened my eyes to a new way of seeing things. He taught us the essential skills required to survive!

What a blast! Seriously. Some people skydive. Some run with the bulls. I volunteer with 6th graders. |

I had a fantastic time. As a group, we went from eye-rolling and blank stares to full participation and generally a lot of fun. For all of us.

Please let me take this opportunity to thank you for the volunteer work Grace Polley and LT Matthew Bailey have accomplished with my senior Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) classes. It is not often we have volunteers dedicate so much of their time to help our students prepare for the professional workplace. They took the challenge and presented the JA lessons to my class in a professional manner that rivals a regular classroom teacher. They were enthusiastic and held the students' attention at each meeting. The students eagerly looked forward to their arrival each week. Their work has paid off for two students who have been asked to interview this week for a real CAD summer position by two engineering firms.
