Francisco Escobedo, Ed.D.

Dr. Escobedo was appointed to the Superintendency in November 2010. Dr. Escobedo has served in education the better part of 22 years. He is the former Assistant Superintendent for Educational Leadership, in the South Bay Union School District.
His experiences include serving as a principal research analyst for the American Institutes for Research, as well as serving as California Regional Vice-President of Achievement/Operations for Edison Schools. He has served as a principal at then-Mae L. Feaster-Edison Charter (now Mae L. Feaster Charter) and in the National School District at John A. Otis School.
