Company Program

JA Company Program® provides basic economic education for high school students. By organizing and operating an actual business enterprise, students not only learn how businesses function, they also learn about the structure of the U.S. free enterprise system and the benefits it provides.

The Next Big Thing JA Entrepreneur's Showcase is the culminating competition for The Company Program. The winner of the 2009 competition traveled to Minneapolis for National Competition. Find out more now.

TITAN Program

JA Titans of Industry Challenge is an annual competition that pits student teams against each other as they manage a virtual corporation.

JA Titan is an online competition for high school students to market and run a virtual company. Through this program students must manage their company, while making decisions that impact profit, sales and market share and learn the nuances of running a global business in a competitive, high-tech marketplace. The winning team from each school is invited to attend and compete against one another in The JA Titans of Industry Business Challenge at the culmination of the in-class portion of the program. In-Class High School Programs

Have a volunteer from the business community come to your classroom to teach Junior Achievement curriculum, within a relevant section of your teaching plan.

The high school programs help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future, and foster skills that will be highly useful in the business world. With a range of different programs, Junior Achievement teaches concepts from microeconomics and macroeconomics to free enterprise. Each program involves eight to ten lessons of approximately 45 minutes each.
