Weeklong BizTown Summer Camps
Junior Achievement offers a fast-paced weeklong summer camp for 5th and 6th graders, focused on business, economics and financial literacy. Have fun learning what it means to invent products, have a real job and run a successful business in your community.
We have even partnered with the USS Midway for this year to give campers a whole different perspective on the importance of citizens working together to create a productive community. One entire day of camp will be spent aboard the ship!

- Week 1 - July 9 - 13, 2012
- Week 2 - July 23 - 27, 2012

Camp Program:
Monday - Welcome to Producer Place - Create your own product from imagination to success.- Tuesday - Community Canal - Experience one day of camp aboard the USS Midway learning what makes an effective community and what that means for your role as citizen in JA BizTown.
- Wednesday - Application Avenue - Shop the 21 businesses within JA BizTown to practice your new banking skills. Then, apply for jobs and go on a real interview!
- Thursday - Business Boulevard - Learn how a successful business really runs. Each business team writes newspaper and radio ads. Your team films its own TV commercial.
- Friday - Revenue Row: - You're Hired! - Go to work at one of 21 businesses in JA BizTown, pay taxes, earn a profit, get paid, and spend your paycheck. Be a CEO, CFO, reporter, DJ, doctor, bank teller, or sales manager in your own business.

Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. = $255
