This November 28th, JA invites you to join the #GivingTuesday movement, by supporting students like Ethan Hirschberg, featured to the right of photo. The Company Program alum and founder of The Journey Through Autism blog, recently spoke at JA's launch party to kick-off National Entrepreneurship Month.
"I used to be so afraid to speak in public, "said Ethan, "But my experience pitching a panel of judges during the two JA Company Program competitions has given me the confidence to tackle any public speaking engagement that comes by way."
Ethan also credits JA for helping him overcome his fear of communicating effectively during those sometimes awkward moments during networking events.
“Thanks to JA, I can now look someone in the eye and ask for their business card, without being nervous,” said the 17 year old.
In the below video, we invite you to learn more about Ethan's entrepreneurial spirit, his passion to help others, and how JA programs are preparing him for the real world.
This #GivingTuesday, we hope you will join our mission to empower students, like Ethan.
